100 Quality Assurance/Test Practices for Agile Development
Presents fundamental knowledge and problem solving skills suitable for entry-level through mid-career Quality Assurance professionals as well as developers, project managers, and analysts who seek an understanding of Quality Assurance tasks, strategies and tactics. Focus is on assessment, planning, reporting, execution, anticipation, problem resolution, and defect management in an Agile environment including lessons learned through decades of hands-on experience. This class is focused on real-world skills and knowledge.
There are no prerequisites for this class.
200 Higher Level Quality Assurance Methods for Agile Development
Application of higher-level technical methods of verification to include continuous integration, static analysis, code coverage, unit test, integration strategies and tactics, statistical analysis and the roles and relationships critical to the Quality Assurance process in an Agile environment. Subject matter is presented in a practical manner with real-world examples for the application of tools, techniques, strategies and tactics. This class is appropriate for junior through senior Quality Assurance level professionals as well as developers, project managers, and analysts.
The prerequisite for this class is an understanding of how systems/software is constructed and a familiarity with basic system engineering.
300 Test Automation Strategies for Agile Development
Consolidation of successful test automation strategies, practical solutions to common test automation problems, architecture and design of test automation solutions, defining an automated solution, evaluating and measuring test automation solutions, organization and maintenance of automated test cases, and an introduction to common test automation technologies. Appropriate for junior through senior Quality Assurance levels including developers, project managers, and analysts.
Prerequisite is an understanding of software development practices and the construction of system/software products.
301 Quick Test Pro
The Training is CDLE Workforce Investment Act (WIA) eligible for unemployed/underemployed individuals.

Training Description:
HP Quick Test Professional (QTP) is the most popular enterprise Automation Testing tool used in the software testing industry today. Expertise in QTP is one of the most in demand skills in automation testing. This training includes Basic QTP as well as advanced concepts.
Connected Testing is a Certified HP Business Partner as well as a partner of Touchstone Technology Training. Connected Testing trainers are QTP practitioners well respected in the software test automation field and they have extensive experience across a range of industries including Financial Services, Transportation, Telecommunications, Aerospace, Healthcare and E-Commerce.
The training is targeted to software test professionals with beginning to intermediate skills in software test automation. The course is a mixture of lecture and hands-on exercises* based on real life experiences.
After completing the course the participants will be able to:
- Understand QTP basics
- Use VBScript programming in QTP
- Create Functions and Libraries
- Use Objects Repositories and Descriptive Programming
- Control QTP script flow
Participants should have a working knowledge of software testing and understanding of software development concepts.

400 Leadership and Management of Quality Assurance/Test for Agile Development
Intended for professionals who are in or who aspire to be in management and leadership of Quality Assurance/Test. Learn the value Quality Assurance can provide and how to extract that value from the organization. Emphasis is on communication, practical management, project and organizational strategy and , interviewing and recruiting for Quality Assurance/Test professionals, measurement, crisis intervention and solution, and continuous improvement in an Agile environment. This class is appropriate for Directors, Managers, test leads and those who aspire to these positions.
Prerequisite is a basic understanding of Quality Assurance/Test and the role of Quality Assurance/Test in the lifecycle.
